Where to sleep together? That’s the question!

One of the things that make it hard for gay guys to have sex is that most Lebanese guys live with their parents until the age of…well…infinity!!

Doesn’t matter if we’re in our late twenties or our mid thirties, we’re still living in our parents’ house! It’s in the Lebanese culture.

So if you wanna have sex with a guy and you both live with your parents, where do you go?!

Of course it’s not just us gays that suffer from this dilemma, it’s also straight people. In fact, us gays and straights, united by our love for sex, are the ones keeping the “Dbayeh Marina” busy at 2 am!

But, really, it sucks to be a 20 something year old and not have a place of your own…

I’m tired of sleeping with men while their mom, grandmother, or brother is in the other room. Talk about a silent orgasm!!!

Girls have a similar problem. Living with your parents til marriage is awful, it doesn’t let us have privacy or independence this is why some people can’t handle being alone for a day, we’re too spoiled.

It is SUCH a buzz kill! I’m so jealous of my friends who have their own apartments around Hamra for uni who get to do whatever the fuck they want. This needs to change, I don’t like this part of our culture. I think that if a youngster is financially independent and can afford his/her own place, they should move out. A) It’s a good investment for later, they can find a place and pay monthly instead of rent. B) They’ll grow up and learn some house responsibility. So when the time comes actually get serious with someone, they know a bit of the hardship that goes into having and maintaining a home (not expecting your partner to keep cleaning, cookies, laundrying and ironing everything). C) (this is to convince the parents) They’ll miss their parents so much, that they’ll be willing to spend more quality time with them. Vs. just you staying in your room and your parents in the other.

WOW I’m off topic, but I just had to share 😛
Missed your blog ❤ Love the new layout 🙂
