Video: Born This way Grammy Performance

After weeks & weeks of waiting, the much-hyped about Lady Gaga Grammy performance took place!

The black backdrop. The hair whippin. Dancin. Singin. The “no matter gay straight or bi, lesbian, transgendered life” breakdown. Lifting of the hands while saying “same DNA”. And the paws up!

Loved it.

What do you think?

Lived up to the hype?

    Dude seriously that was amazing.

The performance was perfect. It reflected the energy of this song. Some said it doesn’t hold a candle to the “Paparazzi” performance but really they have nothing in common. That was a sad song. This is supposed to be a celebration!!

When she slowed down the tempo to stress on Gay Straight Bi Lesbian Transgender life line , I was sold.

Bekhsous the Egyptian dance moves…you mean the one on 1:18?

I actually talked to my friend who’s half-Indian and she said that the dance number is heavily inspired from Indian pop. The Egyptian part I noticed was 1:05-1:12… and the Middle Eastern part was the general belly-dancing-ish type of gyration she was doing.

Nicely said Ziad. I Loved it too!

Paparazzi performance was awesome, and Born This Way was great in its own way. It’s an anthem! Definitely one to remember…
