If you recently visited Acid, Milk, (fill in any gay place), then you heard this song by Nourhanne: Beirut Never Sleeps (Khodni).
The song has everything:
– Trance intro, subtle yet amazing strings, an awesome club beat by DJ Osane
– A very Tish-Tik-Ta2-Ta2 oriental chorus
– Guest rappers (“Teslamile ya ammoura, sayra ktir ghayyoura, walla helektine”)
– Nourhanne shouting out “Oh Oh Eh Yo” while Osane screams “Beirut…NEVER SLEEPS”
Not a huge fan of the “Khodniiiiii” Chorus that she belts out, but for many gays at the club, the “Khodniiiii” chorus and the Arabic Breakdown is the highlight of the song!
