Tell me who’s your ex. I’ll tell you who you are?

So I’ve been chatting online with this guy for a while.

We started talking about relationships and exes, and turns out…I’ve dated an ex of his.

I wasn’t surprised. The Lebanese gay world is small.

But I started wondering. What did he see in this ex?

See, I went out with his ex a couple of years ago and I just didn’t click with him. He was too childish for my taste. Felt like I was dating a 13 year old second cousin.

I’m not anyone to judge (not usually), but what did this guy I’m chatting with see in his ex? Why was he so into him? Did he mature since the last time I saw him?

Hope this guy is nothing like his ex.

Trust me, if I were going to be judged based on me exes- no one would ever date me!

When you come to think about it-you went out with the ex too!

Now you both know that’s not the style you wanna go for- something in common already 🙂

Maybe you should consider giving him a chance and if he turns out to be a nuttie- drop him like a hot potato

    Bisoux!

I love the title of this post – it’s true that who we date reflects who we are or at the very least, who we relate to on a romantic level. I’ve asked myself the question after some time has passed from dating an ex – “what did i see in this guy?” but to be honest, we all change and so does our romantic taste. Take it easy on the guy you’re seeing.. could be he doesn’t see what you saw in the other guy or simply has different taste 😉

You’re right. I’ve also loved men who, looking back at now, don’t seem worthy!
      Maybe taste does change =)
      10x 4 the advice, girl.
