Celebrating Yehya Saade

Yehya Saade, one of my favorite Lebanese Directors, passed away while filming a music video for Maya Diab in Turkey. Apparently, he was electrocuted on the set.

Yehya’s visually appealing music videos are known for pushing the envelope and for breaking standards of what is “acceptable” and “not acceptable”. They are truly BEAUTIFUL to look at.

Yehya was a gay supporter and he never shied away of speaking his mind about gays and homosexuality whenever he was asked about it in TV interviews.

May he rest in peace.

Here are some videos Yehya Saade directed. Enjoy…and celebrate his work.

Wow, I’m so sorry to hear this. We need people like him in this world. What a sad story!

That’s what I’m also sad about. Is that we won’t have any more videos from Yehya. His work was amazing.
