Uganda tabloid outs 100 gays, says “hang them”.

A newspaper tabloid trash paper in Uganda has published the names of 100 homosexuals and called for their hanging.

According to, the tabloid’s editor defends publishing the names of gays and lesbians so “authorities could arrest them”.

When I heard this on CNN, I wondered: “Oh gosh…could this happen in Lebanon?!?!”. Then I remembered Nidal El Ahmadiye threatening to out a lesbian in her gay bashing Lebanese magazine Al Jaras just 2 weeks ago. So could this happen in Lebanon? Enno eh, mesh b3eedeh eza fee heik nes jehleen!

What kind of world are we living in? My heart goes out for those outed Ugandan gays who must feel really unprotected right now…

This is just human nature all over again 😦

And yes it could/will happen in Lebanon toon. We ain’t going to make politic here but you guys have a Damocles sword over your heads with the Hariri Tribunal, and then it will fall, then the country will fall again, after that, being gay, and a few many things like from “the wrong” religion, will turn very ugly 😦

Sorry to be so “dark” … well … see ya … I have a visa demand to fulfill.

How can you comment on this? I could use words that have been used endlessly. Maybe one day the world will become a better place
